girl at a party is an ode to queer love (and crushes). It tells the (true) story of being at a party and seeing that one girl who changes it all, and realizing that you’re not so straight after all. The tune is a queer indie pop anthem, complete with a driving bassline and vocal harmonies. The breakdown at the end of the song is a quick breath before exploding into a loud expression of uncontrollable yearning.
